Payment

How and when you will be paid

$100 per month on the 20th of each calendar month, beginning 20 April 2026, by the same method already on file with NISSS.

Direct bank deposit

If NISSS holds your bank account details, your $100 COLCC payment will be uploaded for delivery to your account by the 20th of each month — separately from any pension or welfare payment.

Cheque by post

If you receive your existing pension or benefit by cheque, your COLCC cheque will be printed and dispatched to the General Post Office (GPO) by the 17th each month for delivery by the 20th.

Your COLCC payment will be credited to your bank account or delivered by cheque on the 20th of each calendar month, beginning 20 April 2026. Where the 20th falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment is made on the last business day prior.

NISSS will make no change to your existing payment method: If you already receive your pension or grant by direct deposit, your COLCC payments will also come by direct deposit. If you receive your pension or grant by cheque, your COLCC payments will also come by cheque. There is no need to visit or contact NISSS unless you wish to update your bank details.

Annual COLCC statement

All beneficiaries will receive an annual statement showing the total COLCC payments made to them during the preceding year. Statements will be issued by 31 January each year, beginning January 2027.
